OFFSHORE JUMBO SEA BASS, COD & POLLOCK TRIP - 33 Person Limit   (Dates TBA)

NOTE:  THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS CLOSED DOWN SEA BASS FISHING IN FEDERAL WATERS FOR 220 DAYS (OCTOBER 5, 2009 - MAY 21, 2010) DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE STOCKS ARE HEALTHY.

This unwarranted closure is just the first step in an effort by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to arbitrarily regulate all of our fisheries and PREVENT YOU FROM FISHING.  Today it is Sea Bass, and tomorrow it will be Fluke, Porgies and Stripers.

These fall and winter trips leave on THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights offer anglers the opportunity to fish sunken wrecks located approximately 50 to 80 miles off the New Jersey coast.  A wide variety of fish are found on offshore wrecks, but the catch is generally Black Sea Bass from 2 to 7-lbs and Porgies from 2 to 3-lbs, plus some Cod and Pollock up to 30-lbs.  All of the fish we catch on these trips are excellent eating and anglers often make limit catches.   Our heated handrails will keep your hands warm and toasty, but be sure to bring along plenty of warm clothing.   A sleeping bunk is included with your fare (we suggest you bring a sleeping bag or blanket and pillow.)   Reservations ARE required.

THREE TRIPS EVERY WEEK!

We leave our dock at 11:30 PM THURSDAY and return 7:00 PM Friday

Again at 11:30 PM FRIDAY and return 7:00 PM Saturday

And again at 11:30 PM SATURDAY and return 7:00 PM Sunday.

The fare is $175.  Rod rentals are available for $10 additional and includes hooks and one sinker.

NOTE: You can confirm the VOYAGER is sailing on an OFFSHORE SEA BASS TRIP by calling 732-295-3019 (select menu option 4) any time after 6:00 PM on the day of the trip.

Recommended Fishing Tackle:

Rods and Reels - 6½ or 7-foot heavy rod with Penn 3/0 or Jigmaster equivalent conventional reel (40 to 60-lb test monofilament or braided line)
